IIW President Dr Kapila Gupta came to Croatia from Bari where she had undersigned the parchments of twinning between District 210 Italy and District 191 Croatia, together with District 210 Chairman Irene Ficociello Calzetta, District 191 Chairman Snjezana Petrovic Tkalcec, National Representative of Italy Gemma Pirondini and District 191 Secretary Nives Sklepic Premus.
From 22nd till 25th of May IIW President Dr Kapila Gupta was generously hosted by IWC Split. She was met upon arrival by president of IW Club Split Tamara Pavlovic and IIW Editor/ Media Manager Sandra Neretljakovic, member of IWC Split who had supported organization of President’s visit a lot, due to their intense contact and cooperation in IIW.
While sightseeing natural, cultural and historical sights of Split, Diocletian's Palace, Ivan Mestrovic Gallery, a wonderful Marjan hill views, Riva (seafront) and Prokurative square, memebers of IWC Split spent time in a pleasant conversation and exchange of experiences with President Gupta.

Members of IWC Split also organized the meeting with IIW President Gupta, their guests from Croatian IW clubs Zagreb Gradec, Sibenik and Varaždin and D191 Chairman Snjezana Petrovic Tkalcec. The meeting was also attended by Indian IW friend Pratibha Shah Gangar (Past President IWC Bombay North West, D314), who happened to be in Split on that day.

May 25th IIW President Gupta, accompanied by Sandra Neretljkovic IIW Editor/Media manager, travelled with a catamaran from Split to Dubrovnik. It was an opportunity to show her the beauties of the Croatian coast, the islands and the Adriatic Sea. Upon arrival to Dubrovnik the President Gupta, accompanied by NR D191 Meri Suman Tolic and IWC Dubrovnik members, visited the Association Rina Mašera. It is an association that cares about mentally challenged people and is supported by IWC and Rotary club Dubrovnik. In this occasion, all together IIWP Kapila, members of IWC Dubrovnik and members of Association Rina Mašera, planted the saplings of mimosa tree and left a legacy of a true friendship, service and significant visit. President also bought flowers, produced by the residents in their hothouse, for all members of IWC Dubrovnik and Banja Luka.

In the afternoon, the President accompanied by members of IW Club Dubrovnik and ND IW Club Banja Luka enjoyed professional guided tour through the sights of world famous Dubrovnik.

IWC Dubrovnik members hosted a dinner in honour of President Kapila Gupta and their guests from ND IW Club Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was a chance to meet, socialize, and motivate to strive in the struggle for Inner Wheel ideas.
The visit of the President was a big honour for all members in both clubs and it will remain in our memory as a wonderful experience
