IIW Immediate Past President Bina Vyas visits District 242

We were honoured to have IIW IPP Dr Bina Vyas at District 242 in Istanbul, Turkey on 9 April 2022. District 242 was her first stop in Turkey. Then, she continued with District 222 in the northern part of Cyprus and District 244 back in Turkey.

We had a welcoming meeting organised with the participation of all Club Presidents and the Executive Committee of District 242.

District Chairman Dr Ilay Yılmazlar, National Representative Siren Toksoy, Past Board Director Nur Ustas, Past National Representative Iclal Kardicali, Immediate Past District Chairman Berrin Baldoktu made their welcoming speeches. District Secretary Burcak Turk introduced the clubs and District 242.

IIW IPP Dr Bina Vyas presented a training session on how to increase the membership and on the principles of Inner Wheel. The training was so inspiring and beneficial.

In the following day, we had a tour of the historical peninsula of Istanbul and had an enjoyable day. After this, we all departed together for the northern part of Cyprus to visit District 222.

We are thankful to Dr Bina Vyas for visiting and hope to see her again in Istanbul without the pandemic situation.
