IIW President’s message for the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II - 2-5 June 2022

The Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeh II was celebrated to mark the 70th Anniversary of her Accession on February 6, 1952.

She is the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee.

Congratulations to all Inner Wheel Members from UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Crown Dependencies, British Overseas Territories, Commonwealth of Nations, who enjoyed this special four-days Jubilee week-end from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5^th June.

In her Accession Day message, on February 6^th last, the Queen said that she hoped that the Platinum Jubilee “would bring together families and friends, neighbours and communities” and thanked everyone for “their support, loyalty and affection”. She signed the message “Your Servant”.
