E- Learning Project (District 302)

In the District 302 E-Learning Project, 210 students from government schools and colleges were awarded certificates of accomplishment from a highly reputed institute for attending the online computer fundamentals, Windows operating system, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and desktop publishing (PageMaker, Photoshop) course through online sessions organised be the Inner Wheel District 302. Past District Chairman J. Mani Prabha is the course instructor, while Past President S.N.V. Radhika is the Project Director.


Grinder Machine (District 298)

Inner Wheel District 308, Zone 5 organised a camp for providing artificial limbs to several handicapped persons in need. The project was a great success as the Club was able to support 20 physically challenged persons with artificial limbs. The Club is thankful to all the participating Inner Wheel Clubs of Kaithal, Kaithal Shinning Star, Karnal, Karnal Midtown and Karnal Tarang for their whole hearted support and cooperation. Heartfelt gratitude to ZC PDC Shalini Chaudhary for help, support and guidance at every step.


Slum Painting Landmark Project (District 306)

Beneficiaries: 58 families of slums


The Mega MEGHDHANUSHI BHARUCH project by the Inner Wheel Club of Bharuch in association with Kansai Nerolac Paints Bharuch and IIID Bharuch have identified the first Slum Painting Landmark Project in Bharuch. This historic mega project was Inaugurated by the august hands of Chief Guest Shri Dushyant Patel (Chief Deputy Whip and MLA Bharuch) on 17 March 2022. As the name suggests it is gifted to not just colour their homes but to impact their lives. It is a project to change thoughts, bring hope and happiness to their surroundings. While the focus of the project is about beautifying the slums, it is also about keeping them clean. The Inner Wheel Club of Bharuch is highly grateful to all for your encouragement and support in this humanitarian cause. Each have taken the extra mile in supporting this project and pushed beyond limits, setting higher standards.


Auto Rickshaw Donation (District 303)

On the occasion of International Women's Day on 8 March, the Inner Wheel Club of Warora donated pink motorised rickshaw (locally called “auto”) to empower a women in need who lost her husband in the COVID-19 pandemic. With this, she can earn and can survive and also be able to serve her family. As we all know, strong women stronger world is the theme of this year’s service projects. The Inner Wheel Club of Warora today on International Women Day has empowered a woman by donating a pink auto to Mrs Poonam Aaglawe from Warora. In this project, Nagar Parishad Warora CO Ms Bhoyar, Branch manager of Bank of Maharashtra Ms Rahul Khapne, Mrs Kakdae, Mrs Nilesh, and Mr Kharade helped a lot.


Marriage Sponsorship (District 307)

Club members attended a marriage of an underprivileged couple at Gurudwara Guru Nanak Darbar, Hardyal Nagar. Tea, fritters, sweets and lunch were served to the family members of the couple. Everything was arranged and managed by club members The Club also donated six big steel bowls at Gurudwara Guru Nanak Darbar Hardyal Nagar.

The Inner Wheel Club of Jhabua Shakti jointly with the Inner Wheel Club of Jhabua, on 10 March Jhabua festival and Jhabua Day, held a huge rally. It was welcomed with service to the community. The Inner-wheel Club of Jhabua Shakti installed 4 large size waterproof umbrellas over the cemented chair at Police Station Kotwali of Jhabua district so that coolness and shade can be provided in summer and to avoid getting wet in rain. The Inner Wheel logo was imprinted on all the umbrellas.


Solar Fencing Project (District 302)

Chief Guest, IIW Treasurer Sarita Lunani along with P Yasoda Chairman inaugurated a solar fencing project at Vasavya Children’s Home for 100 orphans and underprivileged children at Kanuru village sponsored by the Inner Wheel Club of Vijayawawada.


Seminar On Noise Pollution (District 305)

Inner Wheel Club organised a seminar in DRJ Girls College, Balotra on the topic of Noise Pollution, explaining to them about the reasons, the adverse effects and the preventive measures to be taken against it. Police officer and Circle Inspector Sir Babulal Ji Rager were invited as chief guest and chief speaker. He addressed the topic by saying that excessive noise is bad for one’s health and we need to minimise the use of sources that generate noise on a higher level. He also educated the students about the various policies and laws made for one’s security and also urged everyone to follow the traffic laws.


Inner Wheel Club of Balotra President Uma Mundra also spoke about various small steps which can be incorporated in our daily life to minimise noise pollution such as to get our vehicles serviced from time to time, keeping the volume of televisions and radios to a minimum, to not use unnecessary honking while driving and as such. Secretary Kalpana Mathur also advised that the use of loudspeakers in events be kept to a bare minimum. There were 110 students who participated in this seminar learning actively. Inner Wheel Club Members along with the students also visited the police station and learnt about its operational system.
