Biogas plant for a village (District 305)

The Inner Wheel Club Of Ahmedabad South donated a biogas plant at Amirgadh. The biogas plant is locally called “gobar” gas plant, where “gobar” means cattle dung. The facility is installed in a school campus to provide for the families of the Adivasi (aboriginal tribe in India) as well as the tribal school kitchen on campus. It will reduce the wood burning practices which is harmful to the environment. Beneficiaries: The whole village and school Campus.



Rehabilitation Camp (District 305)

Inner Wheel Club of Kota

The Inner Wheel Club Kota organised the “Physically Handicapped Empowerment Camp” as a rehabilitation exercise. A disabled when physically challenged, without their tower lower limb walked back on his own after being fitted with a Jaipur foot in the camp. It gave immense satisfaction and a sense of achievement to all the members.


Indeed, a feeling of having provided a service to humanity. 350 registered for the camp and a total of 223 beneficiaries received aids. The aids were: 54 artificial Jaipur foot & callipers, 60 tricycles/wheelchairs, 80 hearing aids, 25 crutches, 3 walkers and 1 blind stick. People approached the Club for help from Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujrat, Kota, Bundi, Thalawara, Sangodh, Ramganj Mandi Bhawani Mandi, Etawah, Swai Madhopur, Jaisalmer, Chittorgarh and Rawat Bhata.



Animal Welfare (District 306)

The Inner Wheel Club of Vyara donated shiny belts to be worn by dogs and puppies while on the streets and highways. In the darkness at night, the belts shine and can be seen by anyone driving, thereby preventing accidents. Dog food was also provided as well for many dogs.



Mass wedding (District 307)

Inner Wheel Club of Amritsar Mid Town

The Inner Wheel Club of Amritsar Mid Town participated in a mass wedding of under-privileged young men and women. The Club also provided home utility items for the couples.



Grinding Machine (District 308)

The Inner Wheel District 308 installed a masala grinding unit in the village of Dhaggad, sector 4, Parwanoo. This is a two-in-one grinder which can grind dry as well as wet materials like soaked pulses to make “daal badi” etc. This is a small initiative to make these ladies earn a livelihood and live their lives with dignity.



Plant bank project (District 309)

Three Inner Wheel Clubs in Sirsa, that is, the Inner Wheel Clubs of Sirsa Midtown, Sirsa Shine and Sirsa Heights, jointly opened a plant bank. It was inaugurated by District Chairman Mrs Nita Puri.


It is a unique project. In this bank various medicinal, fruits, seasonal, flowering plants are planted, nurtured and cared for. Any Inner Wheel member can harvest from this place at no charge. Club member Mrs. Rupinder Kaur has generously given the space in her own garden. Beneficiaries: unlimited.



Construction of toilet facilities for a girls’ college (District 310)

Inner Wheel Club of Meerut Shastri Nagar

A joint project was organised by the Inner Wheel Club Meerut Shastri Nagar, led by President Anita Bagga, on 22 Jan 2022 (Saturday) at Pt. Bakshi Das Smarak Inter College, Zahidpur (in Lohia Nagar). 4 toilets were constructed for the girl students who were deprived of this facility in school. District Chairman Mrs Sonal Bhatia inaugurated the facility and graced the event. The Club thanked all the joint clubs for their participation in the project and the entire Club team to make this a success. The other Clubs involved were the Inner Wheel Clubs of Meerut (President Sunita Gupta), Meerut Cant (President Manjula Rastogi), Meerut Platinum (President Manisha Singhal), Meerut Prabhat (President Rekha Agarwal), Meerut Saket (President Pinki Rastogi), Meerut Samrat (President Charu Singhal), Meerut Shaan (President Kumkum Mathur), Meerut Muskan (President Alka Rastogi), Mawana-(President Neeta Verma) and Meerut Urja (President Asha Pawar).
