They encouraged us, Inner Wheel members, to work and spread the awareness of cervical cancer. We proudly presented their messages in the seminar in front of the august body.

The Seminar began with a few valuable words from National Representative Nayar Islam where she elaborated the IIW President’s vision and theme.

Keynote Speaker Dr Naheed Rukshana gave an elaborate presentation to the participants on cervical cancer, symptoms, causes, detection of the disease in its early stage, medical treatments to cure it, risk factors, etc.

Speakers at the conference said that to avoid cervical cancer, we need to create more awareness; we should all make women aware of their risks so that strong prevention against it can be built. In order to make women aware about cervical cancer, more initiatives that are effective need to be taken in meetings and seminars.

The participants were given important information from the seminar and they will spread the word around. District Chairman Yasmeen Alam also shared her view and gave us guidance to spread the awareness by working together.

The seminar ended with a note of thanks by our respected PNR Naz Rahman.
