October is the month of Breast Cancer Awareness. As a part of the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign by District 342, Pakistan, an awareness seminar was held at Darakshan (a Resource & Training Centre for women with Disabilities).

It was a very informative session that emphasised the importance for women with disabilities to be active participants in the care of their health and to go for regular screenings. There was also a discussion about how early detection can save lives.

The seminar was followed by a question-answer session. District Chairman Aisha Amir, the District Executive team, Club Presidents and members had actively participated.
