Joint Action Towards Hepatitis Zero

On 7 October 2021, the Inner Wheel clubs in Benin carried out jointly with the Rotary clubs in Benin, a project to donate medicines for the care of 35 patients who are carriers of hepatitis C in the regions called Department of Borgou and Department of Atacora.


The official ceremony is the signing of the deed of donation and handing over of a cheque to the representative of the Health Minister, the Departmental Director of Health of Borgou, Dr Ibrahim MAMA SISSE, took place at CIPEC in Parakou 415km from Cotonou.


This overall cost of the project was CFA francs 34,140.


All the four Inner Wheel clubs in Benin contributed up to CFA francs 2,048.40 and were represented by Vice-Chairman Gisèle MARTIN of Inner Wheel District 909, Cécile PATINVOH (President of the Inner Wheel Club of Cotonou Espoir) and Sylvie ADAHE (President of the Inner Wheel clubs in Benin).
