Sharing Is Caring (distribution of snack food)

With the country still under quarantine restrictions amidst the rising number of covid 19 cases, due to the Delta variant in the country, small businesses remain closed which causes an increasing number of employees to lose their jobs and means to provide for their family.

#SHARING IS CARING became a viral word in social media as more people started showing kindness and compassion to the increasing number of affected individuals going hungry.

Inner Wheel Club of Rizal Sunrise quietly responded to this need by securing 25 cases of Magic Cream biscuits through the generosity of Universal Robina Corporation, the leading manufacturer of snack foods in the country. Each case contained 40 packs of 28gms x 10 pieces of biscuits which provided at least 1,000 individuals a quick relief from hunger to help them get through the day.

By August 27, 2021 we were able to distribute all 25 cases of biscuits to the following groups like: the security guards, tricycle drivers, garbage collectors and maintenance crews in Filinvest East Homes Subdivision and Eastville Subdivision; church groups to which members belong to who does outreach activities in some communities; Cribs Foundation Inc, community pantries and Hospicio De San Jose Hospital.
