65 Inner Wheel members from the nine districts of Inner Wheel Sverige (Inner Wheel Sweden) met for the first time after a long period of corona restrictions. This physical meeting was much longed for. Held in Skövde (southwest of Sweden), the annual National Information Meeting could now be arranged as usual.
It was kicked-off with discussions around several important themes. “Restart and re-ignition in district and clubs” was one interesting subject presented by Lilian Bergholtz and Gunilla Blomqvist from IWC Linköping. Another important issue was how to increase the cooperation with the Inner Wheel countries in Europe.
IIW Past President Catherine Refabert participated online. She shared her international experience and motivated the participants with ideas for future activities. She ended her speech with, “We need new members to survive!”
The well-organised meeting was led by the new Swedish President, Gertie Stenkula, from IWC Lund together with the Executive Committee.
