Solar energy can provide clean, green and renewable electricity for decades. To provide stable electricity at a historical place. The Inner Wheel Club of Hubli West donated a solar street light with the name plate of Inner Wheel affixed to it, at a historic temple (Sidharuda Mutt) in Hubli on 15th July 2021.
The commissioning of the solar street light was officiated by Mrs. Veena Swamy, National Editor of the Association of Inner Wheel Clubs in India. 18 members from the Inner Wheel Club of Hubli West attended the function.
As the place is a historic place, large numbers of people were gather there from different parts of the country to witness. A solar street light will be useful to the visitors of the temple.
SOLAR PANELS FOR AN IRRIGATION PUMP SET

On 22 Jul 2021, the Inner Wheel Club of Amrapali installed solar panels as a source of energy to run a pumping set for irrigation purposes. The solar panel was sponsored by Tata. The commissioning of the panel was officiated online by Chief Guest, Past Association Treasure/CCCC, Dr Neena Kumar.
