Christmas Cheer for Refugee Children

Posted by | Dec 24, 2019 |

Refugee children should always be taken care of as they miss the comfort of home in so many aspects. There is a group of Myanmar children in Malaysia who are home-schooled at a Learning Centre as they are unable to attend the local government school.

In order to bring cheer and joy to this group of kids, Inner Wheel Club of Petaling Jaya (Malaysia) organised a lovely Christmas party for them where they were given the opportunity to select a meal of their choice.

The kids enjoyed a hearty lunch and Christmas cakes, then were thrilled with individual gifts of toys, school stationery and girls’ hair accessories.

These kids then entertained us with Christmas songs and cultural performances.
