Caring for women & Children

On August 3rd  we Conducted Breast feeding awareness program in Asaripallam Government Medical College Hospital and distributed 60 Protein Powder Tins worth Rs.13,960/- to the delivered breast feeding mothers. Secretary Mrs. Parvathi Vijayakumar briefed the importance of Breast feeding among the new mothers and   pregnant Women. 60 new mothers and 75 Pregnant Women benefitted by this program. Our club member Dr. Reshmi Ajith organised this wonderful program. Twelve of Club members participated in this Program. Cost of the Project – Rs.13,950/- 

Logo Everywhere  

In association with Govt of Tamilnadu Social welfare board we prepare One Thousand Stickers indicating Women Helpline Number 181 with our club’s name & Logo to publicise our Inner Wheel everywhere. We always have our Stickers with us and stick them in the important places in and around the School in Kanyakumari District and very important business places of our District.

 

Avoid Plastics - Mamta Mission

To promote Mamta Mission project campaign in Orphan Free India, Avoid plastics, Logo everywhere, Adopt Village & publicise Inner wheel we conducted a club wise slogan writing competition related all these subjects. Many of our club members actively participated in the competitions and some of the slogans selected and we made cloth Banners and installed the cloth Banners in our club members business Organisations. On 3rd September 2019 we started this project, publicising Inner Wheel logo & Mamta mission projects.

Plastic Awareness Rally

A plastic awareness rally was held with Smt. R.Rajalakshmi Hindu Vidyalaya Matric School Thuckalay and Padmanabhapuram Municipality. Nearly 750 students 45 teachers and 75 Municipal workers participated in this rally. Placards and banners were carried out by the students on the main road of Thuckaly to Padmanabhapuram We provide juice pockets and  biscuit  pockets to all the participants of the rally  worth Rs. 17500/-.
