Walkathon for Orphan Free India - D323

TV Interview at WalkathonInner Wheel District 323 conducted a Walkathon to create awareness on making India Orphan Free - promoting our theme of Mission Mamta.

We also aimed to create awareness on a clean and healthy environment. Thirty Clubs of the District participated in the joint program - Walkathon at Elliots Beach, Besant Nagar on Sept 22, 2019, 6.30 am. The beach being car free on Sundays has a good walker’s crowd and therefore the walkathon was well received by the morning walkers and joggers. 

District Chairman Nallini Olivannan spearheaded the walk. Chief Guest Ms. Veena Kumaravel CEO- Naturals flagged of the walkathon and joined the walkathon.

Members from various Clubs joined the walkathon including the family members. Members also distributed bills that created awareness on Orphan Free India. Every participant in the walkathon had posters on their backs depicting the initiative of Orphan free India.
