On Wednesday, November 14th 2018, Inner Wheel Club of Palermo Centro presented the restoration of a 16th century sculpture in white marble depicting a young lion. The piece is part of the works of art kept in the Sicilian Regional Art Gallery of Palazzo Abatellis in Palermo.

Club President Rosellina Tristano Criscuoli stressed that by sponsoring this restoration the Club wanted to give a sign of attention to the artistic heritage of Palermo, exactly in the year where the city is the Italian Capital of Culture.

At the event, which took place in the atrium that leads to the Renaissance courtyard of Palazzo Abatellis, were present numerous members of the Club and several Inner Wheel and Civil Authorities.
