Mrs Laja Adedoyin was formally decorated with the prestigious MGA pin by IIW Past President Oluyemisi Alatise on the 19th March 2018 while the National Representative/ President of Inner Wheel Clubs in Nigeria Abimbola Sowande handed over her certificate.
She founded the first Nigerian Children’s Hospice in 2003 in response a need to increase in abandoned, orphaned and children with various range of congenital abnormalities in the community. Adedoyin Children’s Hospice provides services: children with life threatening illnesses offering comfortable, caring, loving environment - respite, palliative care and pain management.
The event was delayed due to busy schedules by all parties. It was done at the Heart of Gold Children’s Hospice, Alhaji Masha Street, Surulere.
