IIW President Dr. Kapila Gupta visited Izmir, Turkey for Conference Women for Europe 8 on November 24^th to 25^th 2017.

IIW President Dr. Kapila Gupta was in İzmir, Turkey for Women for Europe 8 Conference organized by D244, Turkey on Nov 24-25, 2017.  The theme of the conference was “The Role of Inner Wheel in Contributing to the Life Improvement of Displaced Women And Children.”

Before her speech at the conference, President Dr. Kapila Gupta planted a tree in IW Forest with NR Nur Üstaş, D244 Chairman İclal Kardiçalı, D242 Chairman Deniz Tezelman and IW members.  During the conference and Gala Dinner, she met with Turkish IW members from D242 and D244 and international conference attendees.

On November 26, as the honorary guest of D242, she was in İstanbul on her last day in Turkey.  On a boat tour on Bosphorus, D242 Club Presidents and members had a chance to meet her and discuss their IW projects.  Dr. Kapila Gupta answered questions about international projects and what other districts and clubs are doing globally.

D242 Club Presidents, members, and spouses attended the formal dinner party organized by National Representative Nur Üstaş and D242 Chairman Deniz Tezelman and Board.  Dr. Kapila Gupta thanked the attendees for their friendship and wished them success in their projects.  

Members were honored to have IIW President Dr. Kapila Gupta in Turkey and have her guidance in their work with her broad IW vision.
