IIW President Dr. Kapila Gupta was met at Brisbane Airport by David Winters the husband of National President Karen and they drove through the countryside to the Gold Coast to pick up Board Director KayMorland before continuing on to Lismore. That evening President enjoyed dinner and interactions with the IWA Executive and their partners.

Wednesday morning was pleasant with a drive into the country to the home of IWC of Alstonville member Colleen Anderson where they were treated to time in her studio admiring her beautiful collection of handmade dolls and a stroll through her stunning garden.

In the afternoon President was privileged to plant an IW Rose with IWA President Karen who planted an IWA Friendship Rose at a Rose garden on the site of recent devastating floods and in the evening President Kapila enjoyed a dinner with Past IWA Presidents which provided a great opportunity to catch up with many IW friends.
