What keeps us all going on many a stormy day is that we know that “Behind every cloud is a ray of sunshine”.
Even with “social isolation” and the continuing sad news of families losing their loved ones, I am seeing how Inner Wheel Members around the world can be that “Ray of Sunshine” to the “Dark Clouds” of others.
The “Friendship” that binds us all, gives power to our prayers and thoughts that will help people see the light in their darkness and our dedication to “Service” is being proven by how our fellow members are still reaching out to those women and children who would struggle to survive without our help.
May I say a big thank you to all our Inner Wheel members, no matter whether it is at the sharp end or giving support in the background, who are being that “Ray of Sunshine” and have been helping in so many different ways over these last weeks of Covid-19. You are all Inspirational and Innovative.
Another big thank you is to all those “invisible” people who we often take for granted but keep our everyday lives going. Where would we all be without clean water, electricity, food supplies, transport, refuse collection, post and the many other services that are keeping our lives going?
I am pleased so many are using the #TogetherWeCanSaveLives. The Covid-19 Disaster and Vaccination Fund details will be available soon – it is just a few details with the bank that have to be sorted.
As the virus progresses around the world we are seeing a small easing of restrictions in some countries but it is early days to know how those who have been in isolation will fare with no immunity. We are told that it will be at least 18 months before a vaccine is widely available and our lives start to get back to normal, so let us all stay home and stay safe and pray for that ray of sunshine around the corner!
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love and please stay safe,
