Charter Ceremony IW Club of Tricase - S. Maria di Leuca – District 210, Italy
On September 29th 2016 the large family of Inner Wheel welcomed the
new Inner Wheel Club of Tricase – S. Maria di Leuca, District 210.
The important ceremomy was held at Messapia Hotel & Resort in Santa Maria di Leuca to hand over the Charter to the Club President Anna Carlucci Leo in the presence of National Council President, Alessandra Colcelli Gasperini, NC Immediate Past President Lella Bottigelli Ceriani, National Representative Ebe Panitteri Martines, District 210 Chairman Anna Lapenna Cocciolo, D210 Extension Manager 2015 2016 Bettina Lombardi Crisci, District 2120 Rotary International Governor and Authorities.
It was a very moving event. On a chandelier, five candles were lit: yellow, green, blue, pink and white, representing the five continents and the commitment of joining members to personal service, friendship and international understanding. All of them were holding a lit blue candle and a silken “rose for ever” in their hands.
Then the President and members signed the Charter and each member was proud to receive her IW badge, ready to serve in friendship.
The magnificent Inner Wheel cake was cut in the garden.
