Inner Wheel Club Of Lefkoşa Sarayönü is Caring for the Elderly

It has been a tradition of the Inner Wheel Club of Lefkosa Sarayönü in District 222, to celebrate International Elders Week by visiting a local care home, the Altın Kalpler (Golden Hearts) Care Home in Nicosia

With the cooperation of the home, the Club prepared some food and beverages, gave them scarves, mostly hand knitted by the club members and distributed carnations to each resident.

Residents of the care home were very happy with the live music and danced as much as they could all morning.

The elderly people enjoyed the sincere arms and hearts opened to them by the Inner Wheel members the most. The elderly kept on telling about their life stories and memories about their old days.

At the end, the quality time spent was well reflected on their elderly faces with big smiles and sparkling eyes. It was clearly a fulfilling, heart-warming event for both parties.
