Sanitary Napkins Incinerator Machine for a school

On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Club installed an incinerator for sanitary napkins in Karmveer Bhausaheb Hire High School in Pune and donated 200 packets of sanitary pads distributed to the girls of the school.


Water Dispenser for a school (District 320)

The Inner Wheel Club of Cochin sponsored a 3-tap stainless steel water dispenser with 5-stage purification system to the Government Girls High School in Ernakulam. This will provide clean drinking water to hundreds of girl students at the school.


Sponsoring a State Chess Tournament (District 307)

The Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar sponsored a Punjab State Selection Chess Tournament for the under 10 and under 14 age groups. The national chess championship 2022 was held on 26 and 27 March at Prabhakar Palace, Jalandhar. Trophies were awarded to 12 winners. The Club members were honoured by the Chess Association.



Water For Pedestrians (District 304)

On the occasion of World Water day, the Inner Wheel Club of Neemuch opened a drinking water station at CRPF to beat the extreme hot climate at a point where pedestrians can drink water. The outbreak of rising heat had temperatures rising beyond 40 degrees. This station was duly started under the guidance of ESO PDC Sangeeta Joshi and under the special hospitality of Dr Olive Manzoor Malu. Passers-by and school-going children can get some relief by drinking the cold water in summer.


Ruby Anniversary Joint Projects (District 309)

Inner Wheel Club of Sirsa Main

Exclusive projects were carried out by the Inner Wheel Club of Sirsa Main to celebrate their Ruby Anniversary at the Ruby Conference “Manikya Samagam” & ISO Meet “Honahar”. A joint project for women was the distribution of sanitary napkins, milk, masks and fruits to a maternity ward in Civil Hospital Sirsa. A vegetable cart was donated to a poor lady to help her earn a livelihood.


Two sewing machines were given to two poor girls to help them earn a livelihood. Tiles were installed on the temple floor in a village. An annual pay was given to the priest who conducted a marriage of two poor girls, and included gold and silver items, at a temple in a village. In an inter-district project, money was donated for seats in a park in another district.

The Inner Wheel Club of Bharuch, in association with Samaj Seva Charitable Trust, Inaugurated a Beauty Parlour Course in line with “Women Empowerment: SHEROES CENTER”. The ceremony was officiated by the past President of Bharuch Nagar Palika (Municipal Corporation) Mrs Surbhiben Tamakuwala. Beneficiaries: Ongoing Project for ladies of economically challenged society.


Sports Meet for the Disabled (District 329)

Inner Wheel Club of Calcutta West

The Inner Wheel Club of Calcutta West organised a Parasports Meet for 100 children and young adults with disabilities, including both physical and intellectual disabilities at Kamarhati, North.


They participated in adapted sports namely running and shot put. There were eight categories of participants, according to the strength and ability of the children. The renowned Paralympics coach from India, Associate Sports Director of National Federation Of Sports For The Intellectually and Developmentally Challenged Mr Tamal Chatterjee, conducted the whole event. All participants were awarded medals for their participation.
