District 95 of Egypt & Jordan celebrated two of its members who received the prestigious Margarette Golding Award for their commendable work for the community outside the scope of their Inner Wheel work.
Mrs Zeinab El Ghazaly from the Inner Wheel Club of Cairo West received the award in recognition of her commendable lifetime voluntary service to the Egyptian community in education, empowering women and improving the quality of life of underprivileged families.
Mrs Hanaa El Sadat from the Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx received the award in recognition of serving, supporting and spreading awareness to families of children suffering from epidermolysis bullosa, a very rare skin disease in Egypt and the Middle East.
We are all very proud of Zeinab and Hanaa who have made us all proud by their selfless social voluntary work and their humility and devotion to Inner Wheel and its objectives.
Chairman Hala Hagrass greeted and congratulated the recipients. NR Iman El Bashari presented the Margarette Golding Award pins and announced joyously their contributions deserving of this prestigious recognition.
Our Honorary Members, the former Egyptian First Lady H.E. Mrs Suzanne Mubarak and H.R.H. Princess Basma Bint Talal of Jordan are recipients of the Margarette Golding Award in May 2002. The first members from District 95 to receive the MGA were Mrs Amal Namek from the Inner Wheel Club of Maadi on July 2014 and Mrs Naema Saleh from the Inner Wheel Club of Cairo West on February 2020 for their great lifelong work in serving their communities.
