1008 Saplings Planted by District 316 Inner Wheel India

Look deep into nature, then you’ll understand everything better. We believe that nature is God, but in reality nature is being destroyed at such a staggering speed that if it continues at this rate, the damage will be impossible to reverse.

Inner wheel Club of Chitradurga planted 300 different kinds of trees at the SSY Ashram. The tree saplings included fruits like custard apple, orange, mango, sapota, mausambi and the list goes on. This is just the beginning of a planting drive which is aimed at planting 1,008 trees around the city of Chitradurga.

This entire programme was sponsored by Inner Wheel Club director Mrs Shalini Pradeep in celebration of her daughter’s marriage and Golden Jubilee year of IWC Chitradurga.

IWC President Mrs Nagarathna, District Chairman Mrs Jyothi Laxman and National Editor Mrs Veena Swamy inaugurated the programme by planting a sapling each. More than 50 Inner Wheel members helped plant the saplings. Amount spent:Rs 250000. Beneficiareies: Generations to come

Aatmanirbhar (District 306)

Sewing Machines Worth Rs 21,750/- were donated to deaf and dumb girls at Ankur School for the mentally challenged. The Inner Wheel Club of Bhavnagar will bear the expense of the girls’ tailoring classes to make sure they acquire the necessary skills to put the sewing machines to use. Tricycles worth Rs 11,550/- were also donated to the handicapped. Total amount spent Rs 51,000/

Ambulance Van (District 305)

Executive member of the Inner Wheel Club of Mehsana, Mrs Meenaben Choudhary, donated an ambulance van in memory of her late husband Mr Vinubhai Choudhary. The ambulance will provide services in and around the city of Mehsana free of cost. Amount: Rs.24,000. Beneficiaries: Common citizens. District Chairman: Rakhi Desai. President: Anjali Ojha.

Inner Wheel Branding (District 304)

An Inner Wheel flag was presented to Ishani Palandurkar by the Inner Wheel Club of Bhopal to spread awareness about environment and Inner Wheel. Ishani Palandurkar from Madhya Pradesh, has been selected as one of the 80 participants across the world for an Antarctica Expedition. Antarctica is a global thermostat and aiding research into the prevailing issues of climate change. The Antarctica Expedition will be led by Sir Robert Swan who will train her in climate science and methods for conservation.

As a part of Inner Wheel Club of Bhopal's Environment Conservation Project, PDC Indira Bhaduri Ji of Inner Wheel Club of Bhopal blessed Ishani for her expedition to the Antarctica.

Eye Checkup Camp (District 303)

The Inner Wheel Club of Chandrapur organised a free eye checkup camp for more than 500 senior citizens. District Chairman: Ashwini Gujrathi. Club President: Sadhna Upganlawar. Club Secretary: Rakhi Borade

Donation At Orphanage (District 302)

The Inner Wheel Club of Vijayawada East provided stationary, books, uniforms, mats, footware and all the necessities to 32 girls at Vasavya Orphanage at Kanuru.
