The Corona Pandemic has greatly upset our life, our habits. Suddenly everything has been abolished, cancelled.

The end of the tunnel is nearby, and we look hopeful to a better future.

It’s super exciting, but difficult to find out what’s next. The virus is still there. Nevertheless, after all these difficult months, I am happy to hear that here and there Inner Wheel clubs start meetings again outdoor, but soon in Belgium also indoor.

Finally, I can make a plan to handover the Margarette Golding Award.

On Saturday June the 5^th, I managed to travel to Luxembourg.

In a beautiful garden at Erpendange (Diekirch) the meeting took place, where I was very pleased to give the Margarette Golding Award to Christiane Koeune-Nickels.

In a few words I explained how one could get such Award.

The Lady got very emotional but was still very happy and she just couldn’t believe it.

I hereby send you the letter which I received from her (see below).

From my part, I am very fortunate to be able to give this award to a lady who really deserves it, from my side I would also like to thank you very much for awarding this for this lady.

I wish you the best and above all good health and hopefully we will get the chance to meet again.
