In the wee hour on the morning of 22nd December 2020, the President of the Inner Wheel club of Kuala Lumpur of District 330, Mrs Caylice Sabado took a day trip together with the MRC ( Malaysian Red Crescent) and several other NGOs travelled on 9 four wheel pick up trucks visited Kampong Kabang located in Pahang about 124 km north of Kuala Lumpur to carry out a Christmas project for the 48 Orang Asli (indigenous people) families .
The journey took them around 5 hours on the highway to the State of Pahang and an extra of 20 minutes through rocky terrain roads into the interior part of the village. Once the entourage arrived at the destination, the Chef of the Kampong (Village) together with the 48 families and children were all gathered together to welcome them with great excitement. President Caylice Sabado accompanied by another in-coming member of the IWCKL, Mrs Anna Chua, presented 48 inner Wheel yellow begs consisted the following items to all the families:-
The presentation ended at 2pm and they drove to Cameron Highlands to have a quick meal before heading back to the city of Kuala Lumpur at 6pm. The project was carried out successfully without any glitch even though the City of Kuala Lumpur is still under RMCO (Relax Movement Control Order). The entourage arrived home safely at 10pm.
