Christmas Face Mask Competition

Posted by | Dec 11, 2020 |

Chairman Elaine Morris of District 9 launched a competition to make a fun Christmas face mask. 10 of our 11 clubs in the district participated in this. Members of each club chose the mask they wanted to send in to the Executive for the competition. The District Executive then chose the winner. A prize of £100 was on offer to the winner to pass on to her chosen charity.

Considering the variety of design of the masks, it must have been a very difficult decision. The winner was from the Inner Wheel Club of Thame by a large margin. The lady who made it was Erica Stockwell and the £100 she won is being given to her chosen charity, Hearing Dogs for the Deaf.
