Giving toiletries to 60 kids in Gaborone

Earlier this year – before the first lockdown – the committee members agreed to do a donation of 60 school children which are looked after by the Mochudi Charity Club.

These children are coming from families with no income and are not used to have tooth paste/brush and soap.

However, we had to wait after the second lockdown to organise the handing over.

Alison Davies, President, Jenny Trotter, Vice President and I went on 12.9.2020 to meet the children. The items were distributed including hand sanitizer and pads for some of the girls.

The kids were all very pleased but surely they have to their goodies with their families.
