Built For Mr Amuda Yusfu Sanni With Total Sight Impairment.
Venue: Idafa Keta Maya Ikorodu.
Sometime in October 2016. PDC Bridget Adebayo a very strong Christian and a faithful Catholic informed our members of an elderly Muslim that needs shelter.
Regularly on her way to Morning Mass, Pa Sanni was also heading for early morning Prayers in the Mosque. We were moved because there is no religious bias within Inner Wheel. The project turned out not only sourcing for house rent but unanimous decision to build a permanent abode for our new brother.
The beauty of Inner Wheel is that we love to help people unknown to members more so Pa Sanni our beneficiary who cannot identify any of us.
At the time the decision was taken we had less than
N50, 000. (£180) in our Clubs Account but we all believed that like the IIW Theme for this year “Together We Can” and we bless God for the guidance and understanding among members.
BUILDING OF THE HOUSE:
The project started on 15th December 2016. On 3rd of January 2017 the foundation was commenced ceremonially by PDC Wemimo Olasanya in commemoration of Inner Wheel Day 2016/17 service year.
All members of our club utilised our Treasure. Talent of Fund Raising.
We involved our friends both at home and diaspora. Our family members particularly our children and their friends.
To God be the glory today we members of Inner Wheel Club of Onigbongbo is grateful to God. The total cost for the project is N7 million Naira. (£15,100)Adekemi Adeyemi
