Donating technology to a Tribal Village

Literacy Service in Tribal Villages

On 28th September 2019, IW Nagercoil donated a 32" LED TV and Epson Printer& Scanner to Government Higher Secondary Undu Uraivida School, Pechiparai. LED TV worth Rs.25000/- was donated by PP. Mrs. Aruna Suresh and PP. Mrs. Jeyanthi Ramesh. Epson Printer & Scanner worth Rs. 15410/- was sponsored by Our Club

On 17th September 2019, to Promote Literacy awareness among the tribal people at Thatchamalai, IW Nagercoil decided to contribute a computer to the tribal Govt. Primary School located at Thatchamalai. On 17th September President, Secretary, ISO, PP. Aruna Suresh and Mrs. Sudha dedicating the Computer in the presence of Hon. Judge R.D.S John Santhosam and District Chief Educational Officer Mr. M. Raman to the School. This will definitely increase the attendance of the children in school in future.

The cost of the Project – Rs.22,000/-

Contribution from Mrs. Sudha – Rs.12,000/-

Contribution from the club – Rs.10,000/-
