 IIWPBD Datin Pearl Jai Mohan’s journey in life has always been in helping others …..

Pearl is the founder of the “Whispering Hope” Campaign. Since 2010, it has provided assistance in the form of books, stationery, uniforms, shoes and a library to rural students in Bario (Kelabit and Penan children).  In 2017  IIWPBD Datin Pearl Jai Mohan started working with the medical department to provide medical equipment and physical training to elderly women in rural villages.

Pearl has been Vice-President since 2000 of the Malaysian Children’s Aid Society which was set up to provide short term assistance to families with children when these families face financial difficulties. Assistance  provided to the families include funds for costs of medical treatment and/or travel expenses to hospitals, nutritional milk for malnourished children, wheelchairs, special beds for paralysed children, etc.

As President of the International Women’s Association of Kuala Lumpur for two terms, and as a member for 13 years, she strengthened its financial status and increased its membership in promoting international understanding and mutual respect. Funds raised by the International Women’s Association of Kuala Lumpur support Malaysian charities.
