UN 16 Days Campaign

Posted by International Inner Wheel | Nov 19, 2019 |

The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign that starts on 25th  November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and ends on 10th  December, International Human Rights Day.

This year’s theme: “Orange the World: Generation Equality Stands Against Rape!”

Since 1991 events are being organized worldwide to raise awareness of the fact that women and girls are still subject to many forms of violence and that urgently this must absolutely come to an end.

To show your sympathy please wear something orange during these days and think about what you or your club can do to end violence against women and girls.
