At the ceremony was present National Representative for Italy Gemma Pirondini Venuti, who brought the greetings from IIW President Christine Kirby and NC President Annamaria Falconio Di Trapani, and gave also a personal contribution of friendship and support, of great encouragement for all IW members.
Then spoke D.211 Chairman Rosalba Licata Di Caccamo, who exhorted the members to pursue with great force and enthusiasm the ideals of service of our Association, inviting each one to make them their own and to pursue them at all times.
The Extension Past Chairman Concetta D’Alba Guagenti, who had strongly supported the birth of the new Club, said it was a small group of thirteen motivated women, who worked hard as volunteers in an area of ancient and illustrious history, but with numerous problems.
Later on, the Club President Angela Rammacca expressed her deep gratitude for the trust given to her by authorities and members of her Club.
The ceremony was also attended by some members of the sponsoring IW Clubs of "Insula Fimi" and "Baharia", as well as by the representative of the Mayor Maria Curvato, and Father Giovanni, priest of the parish “San Girolamo" in Ficarazzi.
After the ceremony of pinning the badges to the new members, D.211 Secretary Lella Pavone invited all present to approach President Angela, for the customary exchange of banners and small gifts to remember this special day.
