On 19th December 2018 IWC Shumen donated two six-channel electrocardiographs  to the Local hospital in the town of Shumen, intended for the Department of Pediatrics and Neonatology.

The devices have built-in software, memorize the electrocardiographic recordings made so far and allow for a more accurate diagnosis of minimal abnormal heart rhythm as well as a comparative analysis between the current and earlier ECG recordings of the same patient. The donation, amounting to 3300 leva, was the cause "Give love and care to children with sick hearts" under the "Donate while you read" project of IWC Shumen, through the site:

This is the third realized project cause, which started on 11.05.2016. They just made it possible to happen, creating the site and cover the money. The purpose of the “Donate as you read” project is to get the Bulgarian children to read books. They can act as donors by deserving the right to distribute the money they have received on the declared charity account to causes they prefer. Any registered student can earn credits by successfully completing at least one test per book of the appropriate age group. It can then target them to some of the active causes published on the site. So far, 1039 students from all over the country who have read 1425 books are registered on the site!

The reading donors are from almost every city in the country.

Up to now, five more causes have yet to be released. A complete idea of the site and the project can be obtained by visiting
