Mrs Suzan Samaha  mentioned the Women's Day history and how it started since 1908 with 15000 women marching in New York asking for their rights to vote better salaries less work hours and in 1910 in a Convention at Copenhagen it was  approved that March 8ths will be Women’s Day and the following year 1911 was the first Women’s Day celebration. Egypt's President declared a women year praising her role and equality.

Now, we have 90 Senators in Egyptian Parliament, 7 Ministers and for the first time a Governor.

She also thanked all Inner Wheel members  in Egypt and Jordan for their great efforts and work  in all fields especially the Mega National Project for "homeless children" which will surely leave a lasting legacy.

District Chairman Mrs Samyia Hatata's  speech welcoming all guests and highlighting the significant role women play in today's world. Focusing on the Inner Wheel women in the audience, she praised and commended their ongoing efforts to turn this year's "Homeless Children" mega project to a great success.

Finally, each guest of honor was given a shield of recognition by D95 Chairman Mrs Samyia Hatata and NR Mrs Suzan Samaha  in appreciation and recognition of the important role they played in our society.
