On 5th August 2017 at Aba Sports Club, Aba, Abia, State NIGERIA, a senior active Inner Wheel member, retired Permanent Secretary and philanthropist; Mrs. Margaret Nwaogbo was decorated with prestigious MGA pin and received the certificate of award from the National Representative/ President of Inner Wheel Clubs.
Mrs. Margaret Nwaogbo was nominated and got the highest International Inner Wheel award - MARGARETTE GOLDING AWARD last Inner Wheel year but could not be decorated because of her personal and cultural reasons.This was her contributions to the community for her humanitarian support and services to the Girls’ Guides Association and disabled persons at Oboro in Abia State Nigeria. The event was done during the change of baton of the District 914 Chairmen at a colorful even at Aba.
The awardee, Mrs. Margaret Nwaogbo (sitting) was awarded the MGA for humanitarian services to disabled persons in Abia State Nigeria, for community services in Obore and long service to the Girls' Guide association. The District 914 Chairman, Mrs. Joyce Nwogu (on the right), Past Board Director Sally Unam (second left) and the other members of Inner Wheel of Umuahia are on looking. The MGA award was sponsored by IWC Ekulu in District 914.
