The Inner Wheel Club of Cava de’ Tirreni, D210 Itlay, was the sixth new Club formed in 2015-2016 to hold the Charter Ceremony on September 30th, 2016.
The celebration took place at Marte Mediateca in Cava de’ Tirreni, province of Salerno, in the presence of the National Council President, Alessandra Colcelli Gasperini, Vice-President Isabella Rizza Romano, Immediate Past President Lella Bottigelli Ceriani, National Representative Ebe Martines Panitteri and National Treasurer Anna Maria Falconio di Trapani.
The important event was attended by the President of the local Rotary Club Fabrizio Budetta, Master Ido Errani PHF member of Rotary Club of Forlì, Town Councillor Autilia Avagliano, the Commandant of Carabinieri Vincenzo Tatarella, the President of the Medical Association Dr. Cianci, Dr. Frega, Magistrate of the Supreme Court, the actor Giacomo Rizzo , His Excellency the Bishop Orazio Soricelli, IW Club of Cava de’ Tirreni members and members representing many Clubs of D210 Italy.
The President Leonarda Scrocco opened the ceremony addressing a welcome speech to all the audience and outlining the programme based on Ethics, Healthy food, Environment, that the Club members had already started to develop, working in harmony and commitment.
The speeches delivered by the National President and Inner Wheel Authorities preceeded the beginning of the ceremony of Charter presentation coordinated by the Extension Chairman 2015-2016 Bettina Lombardi.
Five differently coloured candles were lit on a sparkling chandelier and each member of the newly formed Club was given a lit candle and a rose. Then the Charter was signed by the National Council Authorities, Alessandra Colcelli, Lella Bottiglli and Ebe Martines, the D210 Chairman 2015-2016 Lorenza Carbone Rocco, the D210 Chairman 2016-2017 Anna Lapenna Cocciolo, the Founding President and Members, who proudly received their Inner Wheel badge.
A short, funny scene done by a couple of young actors, live contemporary music, classical music by a young lady playing the violin and an elegant walking dinner on the terrace of the Marte Mediateca concluded the unforgettable ceremony, characterized by an aura of friendship, enthusiasm and willingness to serve.
