Inner Wheel Club Karachi Metropolitan

For the last four years, the Inner Wheel Club Karachi Metropolitan has financed the installation of water hand pumps in remote areas of Sindh.� The poor people living in these areas had to walk for miles for a pail of water and carry it back on their shoulders. The Club has now provided these people water at their doorsteps which is a great relief for them.

Inner Wheel Club Karachi

The Inner Wheel Clinic

The Inner Wheel Club Karachi maintains and finances a Clinic at the � ‘Ida Rieu School for Dumb and Blind children’.

A doctor is employed and the club provides free medicines and medical help, such as Ultra Sound facilities, to the Special Children as well as Staff of the School and their families.

Book Binding Centre

The Club also runs a Vocational Training Centre at the ‘ Ida Rieu School for Dumb and Blind Children’.

The Club has employed a trained teacher (who is also dumb),� to teach the dumb children the art of making books ,folders and different paper based products, for sale. This enables the students of the school to find jobs in the market and earn income to support their families.

Inner Wheel Club Karachi � North

The Club supports a shelter home for under privileged women and children. Members visit the shelter home from time to time and present needed provisions and gifts and provide finances for the running of the shelter home.

Inner Wheel Club Quetta

The Inner Wheel Club maintains a Neo Natal ICU at Civil Hospital Quetta and pays all the expenses involved in it’s maintainance.� It has also provided incubaters for infants.

The Club has been supporting this Project for many years.

Inner Wheel Club Karachi Universal

The Inner� Wheel � Club Karachi Universal supports the ‘Society For Rehabilitation Of Special Children’ (SRSC), a Vocational Training Centre for Special Children.

The Club finances the SRSC projects and members visit and supervise at the Centre.

The Special Children of the SRSC participated in and won laurels at the World Special Olympics held in 2015, in Los Angeles. The contingent from Pakistan stood 3^rd among the world participant countries.
